This page is my attempt to centralise BOC song information into a single unified at-a-glance format. I'm not trying to catalogue every BOC release in every country - I'm only concerned with Belgian 12 inch Pink Vinyl picture disks if the songs they contain are different or extra to the "normal" releases. Please note that this page is just an initial draft - I have a few more songs to add - the Buck Dharma Archives, SummerDaze, one or two singles which contain unique song versions etc. Also, some info is still to be added - timings, production info etc.

Any extra info you can offer - or if you spot any mistakes - please let me . I must admit that once the Martin Popoff book came out, this page became a little redundant. I was going to add - over time - some notes after each song to show stuff like the genesis, previous names/versions etc plus any stories directly related to that song, but there doesn't seem much point now as MP has gathered a lot of that info together and structured it in a logical way.

Two sites will provide more detailed background info: the BOC site is the ultimate guide to all the various BOC recordings that have ever been issued (all countries) whilst John Swartz's BOCFAQ will fill you in on lots of background info to various songs and recordings.NB: The lyric links below will take you to the relevant page on the blueoystercult.com site. Also - each song is followed by a tick or a cross to indicate if it is known that that song has ever been played live or not.

 Introduction:Scott Muni
Notes:The bit about the Lucifer light on OYFOOYK really worked better visually during 74 cause there was a real "Lucifer Light" onstage... it was a remote controlled spotlight called a Cyclops that rose behind Alberts kit on a genie tower during that song & would shine red beams down on Eric & into the crowd... sort of a "Poor Man's" laser.. problem was it was a piece of crap mechanically & almost never worked & you HAD to lease it as they would NOT sell you one.... [ Sam Judd ]
 Notes:Dedicated to Ron McCoy
